Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is an advanced massage therapy frequently prescribed by surgeons for both pre- and post-cosmetic surgery and liposuction. It has also been shown to help with Chronic Fatigue Syndromes.
The treatment stimulates and increases the rate of removal of waste products, toxins and excess fluid from the body's tissues. It also increases the exchange of oxygen and nutrients in the body's cells, improving overall function and helping patients achieve the best results from their procedure as quickly as possible.
Who Is MLD For?
- Pre- and post-cosmetic surgery patients
- Patients with lymphoedema
- Those experiencing Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
- Post-cancer treatment recovery
- General immune system support
What to Expect
MLD uses a light, rhythmic touch — quite different from traditional massage. Sessions are gentle and relaxing. Most patients notice reduced swelling and improved energy levels after treatment.
